Raymond P. Harrison

Raymond P. HarrisonRay has over 25 years of experience as an executive coach, consultant, author and organizational psychologist. Ray began his career as a counseling psychologist in academia and published numerous research articles in the areas of career development, career transition, team leadership and assessment. He taught for three years at the Pennsylvania State University and later for ten years at the University of Pennsylvania. Eventually his research attracted the attention of the private sector and he served for five years as a Senior Vice President at Drake Beam Morin, the largest career transition and coaching organization in the world at the time. After that, for the next thirteen years Ray served as Executive Vice President and Practice Leader for Executive Development Services at Manchester, Inc. while also managing their Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Princeton, NJ offices with full P&L responsibility.

Following the sale of Manchester, in 1999 Ray founded Executive TransforMetrics with the goal of creating a full service career development firm based on the best available research in executive development and grounded in measures that were not just statistically significant but had practical impact. Under Ray’s leadership ETM has provided various career development services to executives and their teams in the U.S., Europe and Asia.


 Richard W. Thompson

richDick Thompson brings to his clients a balance of sound business judgment, exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to career transition and leadership development.  His thirty year career with AT&T included extensive experience in both financial and human resources management with particular emphasis upon recruiting/employment strategies and career development.  His own career has been marked by successes in working with executives, managers and employees in a wide variety of high-stakes roles and activities.

Dick’s long-standing interest in career development and performance issues came to the forefront when he joined the AT&T Corporate Headquarters Human Resources Organization.  He created and managed leadership development programs and consulted with client organizations to build both succession planning programs as well as downsizing and career transition strategies.  He subsequently led the project team which conceived and implemented AT&T’s career planning process, a role that included training, development and coaching over 700 managers from all functional disciplines.

Dick became a full-time career consultant in 1990 and has held senior level positions in several major consulting firms since then. He joined ETM in 2010. Since then he has distinguished himself through his effective coaching of managers and senior executives, his management of nationwide career transition projects for corporate clients and his ability to develop and sustain strong client relationships.


 Edward J. Hopkins

edEd Hopkins has been active in the Retained Executive Search field for over 20 years. He began his career with Johnson & Johnson immediately following his graduation from Seton Hall University. At J&J Ed held a variety of senior level Operations, Marketing and Business Development positions over a 17 year period in the consumer pharmaceutical division. Following his time with J&J, he moved into management positions with CR Bard and eventually with Hydron Opthalmics, Inc., where he became President. Ed was one of the early pioneers in the 1980’s who opened the doors to business in China by actually living there. While at Hydron, Ed lived in the People’s Republic of China and successfully led their Asia Pacific business.

After the sale of Hydron, Ed joined the consulting world and eventually established himself as a leader in the executive search community. This unique approach to search has three elements:

  • Limited number of searches at any time to allow for intense focus on each of our client organization’s needs.
  • The use of both quantitative and qualitative methods to fully understand potential job candidates and how they match the needs of our client organizations. This can entail use of psychometric instruments, 360 assessments, detailed reference checking and innovative new methods such as role playing and realistic job previews.
  • Post hiring on-boarding and coaching to ensure a successful entry and transition.

Christina Ryan, CPA

chrisChristina Ryan, CPA, has over 30 years of accounting and finance experience. At Executive TransforMetrics, she manages day-to-day administration and finance.

Chris has experience with companies in many types of industries. She began her career as a financial analyst at Lever Brothers in NY. Other assignments include positions at BASF and Princeton South Inc., a provider of direct mail, printing and marketing services. She has also been working as an adjunct accounting professor at Mercer County Community College in NJ for over 14 years. Based upon her years of experience in managerial accounting and finance Chris has earned the designation of CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) from the AICPA.

Christina holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University, and two Masters’ Degrees from Rutgers University, one in Finance and another in Taxation.
